Ferdinand has performed as a drummer with various semi-professional and professional orchestras and bands, like Cabbage Alley and Alan Laurillard at the Bimhuis. He has also played as a percussionist with symphony orchestras such as De Philharmonie and the NEON Ensemble.
Additionally, Ferdinand has collaborated with numerous cover bands and participated in freelance sessions alongside artists like Marcus Bruystens (Claw Boys Claw), Sherwin Kirindongo (Giovanca), Laura Jansen (in session formations in the early years), and many others from The Hague and Leiden's pop and jazz scenes.
As a session drummer, he has worked in studios such as Ijlander and De Basiliek
